Το τμήμα των χορδών μεταξύ καβαλάρη και χορδοστάτη σημειογραφείται συμβατικά ως E A D G ·  ενδέχεται δε, να ηχεί διαφορετικά από όργανο σε όργανο λόγω των ιδιαιτερότητας στη ρύθμιση του συγκεκριμένου σημείου. Αποδεκτή είναι μια σχετική ελευθερία του tempo στα σημεία όπου εναλλάσσονται τεχνικές, πράγμα που δεν ισχύει για το «χορευτικό» 3+3+2 μέρος.

This musical piece was written in December 2018. With a duration of 2 minutes, it is the first of three parts of a complete repertoire piece for unaccompanied double bass. Written in the 4ths orchestral tuning (E1 A1 D2 G2) it incorporates contemporary techniques. The part of the strings between bridge and tailpiece is conventionally notated as E A D G - and may produce different notes, as the set up of each individual instrument is different. A relative freedom of tempo is acceptable at points where techniques alternate, which is not the case for the 'dance' 3+3+2 part.
